Early Intervention |
| |
Interdisciplinary early intervention and family guidance at alpha nova means:
- To accompany the development of a child in its familiar surroundings
- To support the child through games and play in its various
- developmental phases, focusing on the child's strengths
- Counselling and guidance for the parents, based on mutual trust
- Working out individual possibilities of intervention for the child, together with the parents
A fruitful co-operation between the early intervention trainers and professionals (physicians, therapists, etc.) ensures optimum possibilities of development for the child. Early intervention can take place either at home or, if necessary, in our well-equipped recreation room. Early intervention caters to:
- Children with delayed development
- Children with impairments
- Children with behavioural disturbances
- Children in difficult life situations
- Children for which the likeliness of an impairment cannot be excluded
All children, with or without impairment, are eligible for early intervention. Early intervention should start as early as possible and can continue up to the kindergarten for children with special needs, or up to schooling age. |
